Success at last: we arrived well before sundown.
A small detour to North Port Augusta for fuel. Much cheaper at an unmanned station in an industrial estate. Then back on the road.
Lunch today was a roadside stop infront of the grain silos at Kimba.
Helps that we stayed in a Caravan Park at Ceduna. Having a shower helps the demeanor. We refueled at Ceduna - another unmanned servo. These seem to be quite common if you want reasonable prices. Early night ready to hit the road on Tuesday and beat the wind (at least for part of the trip).
