We are getting better at this packing up and setting up thing.  Today without much effort we were on the road by 9:45am.  Today's trip took us up to Wiluna, then we hit the red dirt (saved an hour according to Google vs going via Meekathara on made road). We left Wiluna on the Wiluna North Road which for the first few km is also the Canning Stock Route.

The road had been recently graded and we felt comfortable ripping along at 80km/h.  We only saw 2 mine vehicles on the road.  So lunch was just on the edge of the road, having found the only tree casting shade for us to use. So now the car and camper have a good coating of red dust. Also this is the first site with no toilet facilites, so the Privacy tent has had a good run.

 

Along the side of the road it is clearly wild flower season, although many seem to only exist because of the road works - the flowers are only on the road edge and 10m back there is just dirt or scrub.  The wild flowers are supposed to get better in Karijini (tomorrow!).  Here are today's:
